Guepiniopsis buccina

The tiny and rarely recorded Guepiniopsis buccina (Dacrymycetales: Dacrymycetaceae). Only 7 records are currently listed on the NBN Atlas [28 November 2025]. These specimens were recorded and photographed on rotten Beech Fagus sylvatica at a site in West Sussex. My thanks to Nick Aplin for the photomicrograph and for confirming identification.
